ENVIRONMENT, ECOLOGY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The same life teach us that everything is systemic, that’s to say, all that is made somewhere will have repercussions in other, like it’d tell an old Chinese proverb, "The flapping of a butterfly in Hong Kong it can untie a storm in New York."

As well as when we get sick we find the causes in the excesses that we made with our body, likewise the environment behaves now that it is so sick for the wrong use that we have given it: He is the reflection of our acts.

The Environmental Problem is at the present time a multifaceted topic with an interesting debate. One day it is spoken of Climatic Change, another day of Shortage of Allowances and continues arising new problems as the days pass.

The human activity has stopped to be something normal to become a threat. Then, the Earth, as always, looks for new ranges of "stability", but us, the society, and everything that conforms the "Human Culture", included, very especially, our way to be related with the territory, it is not adapted to survive those changes. To the most evident expressions in that deacclimatization, we call them disasters.

We want to continue being part of the Earth, at least during many generations. The human beings can make the decision of guiding the development of the nations toward a Culture of Sustainable Development.
